About the Author

Steven Stralser is a Professor Emeritus at Thunderbird School of Global Management and received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, where he taught Marketing and Marketing Strategy. He holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Arizona State University.

During the fall of 1999, he was a Fulbright Senior Scholar, teaching marketing management in the MBA program at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Entrepreneurship at the University of Miskolc. His interests outside the academy and the professional world include playing left defenceman for his men's adult ice-hockey team, restoring his 1951 Riley 2.5L RMB Saloon, and sharing adventures with his bride, Rosemary, and their kids and grandkids.
